Detailed description is Founded in 2009, Fort Qu'Appelle Pottery and Art Gallery is locally owned and operated by Master Potter Ron Froese. Hours change seasonally. The FQ Pottery and Art Gallery carries handmade pottery designed and made by local Saskatchewan artisans. The gallery features mainly the work of owner Ron Froese, whose functional, beautiful and high-quality stoneware graces the shelves in his signature colours of river-rock, waterfall blue, green, yellow and white. Along with his pottery, the gallery carries handmade jewelry, paintings, photography, cards and practical kitchenware made by other talented Saskatchewan artists.. . Winter 2015: The Pottery is currently open Thursday - Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Hours change seasonally.Appointments and orders are available in the off-season.. . Custom orders can be placed in-person or by phoning the gallery at 306-332-4900. Orders take from 3-8 weeks depending on the time of year and size of your order - we can provide a more accurate time estimate upon placing your order.. . Place settings: We welcome orders for custom dining sets, and we keep basic sets in stock. Place settings are available in any multiples you desire (sets of six, eight and ten are common - but we do smaller and larger sets if ordered). Place settings are available with custom combinations of: dinner plates, luncheon plates, side plates, chowder bowls, soup bowls, regular and large mugs, and tea services. You can expand your set with decorated platters, mixing bowl sets, serving bowls, berry bowls, jugs, baking dishes, french butter dishes, casseroles and other kitchenware.
