Detailed description is Fox Point Oysters is a aquaculture farm located in Little Bay, NH dedicated to raising and selling fresh, healthy, organic and delicious oysters. Fox Point Oysters is owned and operated by Laura Brown from her farm located in Little Bay, NH and from her home in Dover, NH. The farm began raising baby oysters in 2011 and began selling its first round of fresh, healthy, delicious oysters in Spring of 2014. Laura began Fox Point oysters in order to make a living raising a healthy food source that can be raised and sold locally, and do so without pesticides, hormones or adding unnatural elements to an existing area. Oysters are the perfect choice! Farmed oysters feed the same way a naturally grown oyster does: by filtering out nutrients from the water. The only difference is that farmed oysters are set in grow out 'bag and rack' systems to keep them safe from natural predators and to monitor their growth and health. Little Bay in NH is an ideal setting for this farm. The bay is naturally fed with tidal activity from the Atlantic Ocean which mixes with fresh rivers that feed into the bay. .
