Detailed description is Unique Beauty Through Ancient Tradition Gem&I is a designer, creator and collector of unique + beautiful jewellery & gemstones.. A Gemologist and a true Gemini twin, I am a hunter and hand harvester of rare, exquisite gemstones & minerals.. . Growing up at my grandparent's antique shop, I was introduced to classic, art deco and historic pieces...I was visually hooked on "other worldly", rare & unique items which had been passed down & told their stories. I was always the kid at school wearing antique jewellery, unusual gemstones and big gaudy rings. Even more so, I loved looking at them..in different lights, examining them and telling people about where they came from.. So I decided to study jewellery design/history, and then later received my Gemmology diploma at the Canadian Institute of Gemmology. . . Travelling around the world and sourcing out new gemstones and new ideas, I have been learning more about traditional jewellery and gaining inspiration as to what it means to people all over the world....to adorn oneself in beauty and to pass it down in the lineage of one's family.. . I feel connected to these roots of nature's finest imprint, & to the divinity of raw and natural beauty...Gemstones..
