Detailed description is GSA.Waterfront@NSCC.CA A student led organization for students, representing and supporting LGBTQ2SIA students. . Coordinated by queer trans students. We seek to create an intersectional space and advocacy, to recognize and deconstruct racism, ableism, sanism, sexism, classism in our learning environment and workplaces; to support and advocate for those harmed by systems of oppression, exclusion, and hate; to seek leadership from those who’s lived experience and identity reflect those who we represent (those within the LGBTQ2SIA); to not allow (our own or others) experiences to be sold for profit and for institutional self-promotion; to shift how students lived experiences are viewed by educational institutions, as people of inherit worth outside how they and their experience can be marketed or sold; to work towards collective liberation from the systematic oppression that denies those marginalized the same moments, whether of success or even of opportunity, that other experiences via privilege.
