Detailed description is Health Coach I have been passionate about health and wellness all of my life. My father instilled in me the importance of eating healthy and being active from an early age. I am very thankful to him for that. As a public school teacher for the last 15 years, I have works with hundreds of kids at the elementary, middle and high school levels in many content areas. My favorite being health education. A few years ago, I decided that teaching in the public school system wasn't feeding my passion. I wanted to expand my health and wellness knowledge so I could teach people in my community how to obtain a happier, healthier lifestyle. I searched and searched the internet to find a reputable school where I could learn a holistic approach to health. That was when I found the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). I am a February 2012 graduate of IIN. I spent a year learning over 100 dietary theories, listening to presentations from world renown doctors and professionals in the health field and am ready to share what I have learned to help others reach their wellness goals! . .
