The Lord provided an opportunity for my husband and I and our children to move back to the family farm. We now have a bustling farm full of life! We have cows, hogs, and chickens. All pasture based. Our focus is to be beyond organic...meaning our animals live on the land the way God intended. Pasture based on our farm means:Our cows eat mostly grass or hay with only a small portion of feed at milk time. Our chickens are free range, they travel out into our pastured to eat their pick of desired vegetation, insects, and seeds. Our hogs...well they're hogs...they get to graze some in the pastures, while enjoying their cool mud-lots and eating their favorite foods; leftover milk from our cows, acorns, and plant based kitchen scraps. Its amazing to observe the symbiotic flow of our farm!
