Detailed description is Healthy, Homemade Cuisine & International Market Stay in touch with the Gloria's World family on this page! Stu and Gloria Shull began their "Mom & Pop" store in August of 1998. For the first year, their business was mainly selling a few groceries from Korea, Japan, China, and Thailand. After six years of being a host family for over 100 international students, they decided to begin the restaurant and share many of their delicious, yet nutritious dishes with their customers. Stu and Gloria, along with their wonderful staff, including daughter Julie, loved helping their customers to experience different cultures, especially by trying new dishes and "soaking in" the unique atmosphere, decorated with trinkets and clothing from other countries. In approximately 2010, Stu and Gloria began feeling a need to simplify their life and slow down into more of a retirement lifestyle, despite feeling loyalty to their customers to still provide their favorite foods and meeting place. In July, 2014, they sold the business to a young couple who were excited to start their own restaurant, featuring the same international menu plus some new recipes of their own. Breanna Volp and Enrique Morales have named the restaurant the Willow Bistro, and Stu and Gloria's daughter Julie, has agreed to stay on to help them as a familiar liaison between old and new customers. Stu continues to stay busy as a custodian at their church Memorial Baptist. Gloria helps him, along with continuing to entertain at their home, holding neighborhood "get-togethers" and keeping up with her grandchildren (one on the way, too!). They consider many of their customers dear friends and invite you all to stay in touch!
