Detailed description is A community art project with a mission to document the amazing people that make Bend a great place to work and live. Go Local Bend is a community-based social art project whose mission is to bring the Bend community together by documenting and promoting, though photography and reporting, stories of the amazing individuals who are positively impacting our locale every day. Recent additions or longtime Central Oreganders; athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, musicians, public servants, philanthropists are all collectively co-creating Bend as an exceptional place to live, work, and recreate. Our goal is to tell our stories. By sharing our stories together, we hope to inspire mutual understanding and respect, and to preserve Bend as the very special place it is today. If you have a story to share, or know of someone who does, we want to meet you. We will take your photo and write your story to share, one portrait at a time, one story at a time.
