Following graduation he attended University of Maryland’s Dental School, where in 1980 he achieved his DDS. He continued to pursue his education at Washington University at St. Louis, Missouri, graduating in 1987 with a Masters in Orthodontics.. . In his 25 years as a practicing orthodontist, Dr. Grauer has held affiliations with several prominent dental and orthodontic organizations, and is currently a member of the New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association, the World Federation of Orthodontists, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. Dr. Grauer passion for his profession has kept him deeply involved in orthodontics throughout his career, prior to opening his own practice he was the Chief of Orthodontics and guest lecturer at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Schneider’s Children’s Hospital.
