Detailed description is We Are... Great Mills NJROTC Hornet Navy!. . We are an award winning unit with over 150 cadets enrolled, the largest NJROTC in Southern Maryland. Our battalion has two companies with nine platoons. Founded in 2003, we are in our thirteenth year. The program emphasizes leadership, citizenship, self discipline and personal responsibility while providing instruction in Naval Science courses. Leading the unit are CAPT David J.
