We operate under the guidance and umbrella of National Great Pyrenees Rescue, a 501C3 non-profit organization. There is an adoption fee on the dogs that come through our organization - even though we are all volunteers and do not receive pay, we have expenses for the dogs - vet bills, transport is not always free, sometimes we provide feed for foster homes, even printer ink - but we keep everything to a minimum, including our adoption fees. Our "standard" fee is $175, it may be less for a dog who will require meds or is significantly older, could be less for a pup, etc. We do require adequate fencing - yes, these dogs like to roam - and that is the point of the fencing requirement..
