Greenfaith Ministry a cannabis sacrament church (the church and religion), was conceived by two brothers, Rev. ken & Rev. brandon baker aka rev.420, in 2004. It is a cannabis sacrament / medicinal marijuana caregiving church and charity. Open to all religions this non-denominational congregation, was blessed into the congregation by the Ethiopian Zion Coptic Church in 2001. The founders were then ordained by the Universal Life Church's two branches (Washington state branch in 2005, then in 2006 by the Modesto, California headquarters) and received church congregation paperwork from them in October of 2009.. The two ministers, as they continued the Rastafari and Indigenous people studies and trainings, also joined under the THC_Ministry in 2006. Greenfaith Ministry is a religion which considers cannabis to be a medicinal/spiritual sacrament. . Members base their practices on what they see as an eclectic mixture of ancient wisdom, modern science, the enlightening of ones self, mixed with the healing properties of cannabis to the world and its inhabitants. This year they also formed their cannabis sacrament/medicine charity, which is recognized and registered with the states of Colorado, Wyoming the IRS and DOJ. IRS #'s 80-0510119 & 84-1402813, CO/WY Health Dpt (see marriage licenses), Co Dpt Revenue & CO State Charity #(20093014664). . In the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010 they took their religion, practices and services nation wide. In 2014 they became a state sanctioned and registered hemp R&D entity (#60022).. . Beliefs. WE ARE ALL ONE, AS WE ARE ALL CHILDREN OF THE SAME UNIVERSE!. Its mission includes Healing the world and its people with a lot of love, mixed with a good helping of religion and organics. Members also believe it is the substance used in the Burnt Offerings at the altar and special occasions through out the bible numerous times! The massive daily consumptions of cannabis makes the practicing members immune to any intoxicating effects as they are mandated to smoke and eat hemp and cannabis daily.. . History. In 2004 it was conceived after 4yrs of apprenticeships, trainings and teachings of the brothers. They were then ordained through both branches of the Universal_Life_Church, 2005 Seattle WA and 2006 Modesto CA. The ministers, in 2005, due to health reasons each received their medical marijuana recommendations by their Dr. on top of religious use, and joined the THC_Ministry shortly after in 2006. They finalized all religious teachings and trainings and then in 2007 their MMJ licenses from the state of Colorado were applied for. . . They recorded their church, and higher power, as caregivers. Then started a free cannabis program for the less fortunate, a few years after its initiation, greenfaith met with the Stanley brothers at a hemp event at Jake's in Denver; inspiring and helping the Stanley's to create their oil program through Realm Of Caring!. . They currently have over 320 valid patients/caregivers (registered and or licensed by the state) in their congregation in Colorado alone. They obtained their first state issued medical marijuana and caregiver licenses in 2008; thanks to Colorado Amendment 20. At the end of 2014 with the marijuana legalization by Amendment 64 in Colorado (On Nov. 6th 2012) the congregation, including all patrons and supporters, has grown to over 5,000 adults nation wide through Rev. B Baker's personal profile. They also preform regular cannabis education events like the Cannabis Revival Colorado's Film Festival which has free entry to the library database for all cannabis related movies.. . They have an active church prayer group in Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Florida, Texas and many other states. This church performs most prayer and religious services in most states.
