Detailed description is A traditional Barber Shop. Full service haircuts and Straight razor shaves. My name is Ross Brown and I'm the owner of Handsome Devils in Monmouth Il. I provide haircuts and straight razor shaves in a historic setting with an old school feel to it. The early 1920s building isn't the only reason for that. My goal was to create an atmosphere that harkened back to the days where men were men and they greet each other with eye contack and a firm hand shake. Coming into my shop you will see my true passion for old cars and a better way of life. If you have not had a straight razor shave I recommend you need to come in and have one and not on just special occasions. I perform full service hair cuts. Nowadays , people are use to in and out service and on line billing. When you come into my shop, things take a little more time. At first, when people come in they may want to rush but I want them to get use to the shop where they can come in and relax while they get a cut and a shave at the shop. The barber shop use to be a place of conversation and a gentleman discourse. My plan is restoring that. Don't take my word on it. Stop by the shop. Handsome Devils is attached to the Rivoli Theater and Bejou Pub. We also have anything you want to drink and food specials too.
