Detailed description is Happy Hills Christian Service Camp opened in 1960 with a vision of providing a fun and safe place for children to learn about Jesus About Us.... Happy Hills Christian Service Camp opened in 1960 with the help of six churches and a vision of providing a fun and safe place for children to learn about Jesus.. . Each summer children from Kindergarten to High School come to camp for an overnight experience for the youngest to a full week for the older campers. During camp we learn at large and small group Bible Study times, at worship service, playing games (traditional and creative), by getting out in nature at the outdoor classroom, and through creating arts and craft projects.. . Happy Hills is staffed by volunteers from the member churches. A minister or supporting church member serves as "dean" for each camp session and every camper learns from the same theme all summer..
