Joe and Virginia Hardin founded Hardin’s Furniture House in a small frame house at 305 West Kivett St.
in 1949.
They moved to their present location at 2404 N.
Fayetteville St.
in 1956.
Hardin’s incorporated in 1970 after son Tal joined the business upon graduation from Appalachian State University.
Tal’s wife, Gay, took over the bookkeeping duties in 1974 and continues in that position today.
Their son, Brian, was the third generation to join the business in 1995 and is the company’s vice-president.
Joe Hardin passed away in 1997 and Virginia died in 2005.

Hardin's Furniture wants to express our sincere appreciation to the people of Asheboro and Randolph County for again naming Hardin's as their favorite place to shop for furniture for the 3rd consecutive year.
