His passion for Northeast Edmonton, where he has lived all his life, has motivated him to run for City Council. He wants to work alongside other residents and organizations to build strong communities within Ward 4, ensuring a prosperous future for all.. . He pursued post-secondary studies in the field of psychology at MacEwan University and later completed his designation as a Power Engineer at NAIT. Following his studies, Hassan like many Albertans, worked in the energy and petroleum industry in and around the City of Edmonton and throughout Alberta.. . Hassan values hard work and dedication; he continues to volunteer and work with communities in Northeast Edmonton. Volunteering with organizations such the YMCA, Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), and other community initiatives. Hassan is motivated to give back to the community. His passion extends to neighbourhood and youth engagement around various initiatives in the city, such as the Heritage Day Festival and after school language programs to promote cultural diversity and collaboration.
