Detailed description is Tangled Art a mix of hand-drawn artwork and meditative designs that are heavily influenced by Newfoundlands unique beauty and Buddhist teachings.
In 2013 I was in hospital for 4 months and while there, I was introduced to the practice of meditation and meditative art to help pass time.
I started out with very simplistic designs and had no ability to mix or place these designs in any type of order other than one design per box.

Over time I began trying to find ways to mix these meditative designs within objects rather than solely square little boxes.

My first design was a bird.

What would look like feathers? .
What would look like a wing? .
How do I make things look defined from each other and not look like a big mess? .

I had a LOT of big messes before it started coming together for me but now I take great joy in mixing and creating patterns to develop together in to a unique design that are hopefully pleasing to the eye and pleasing to the mind.

It took me several years to accomplish the basics but I am now striving to reach new levels of creativity with each unique piece of work.
