Detailed description is Heirloom Farm is located 20 minutes west of the Des Moines Metro area. We offer vegetable CSA shares, free-range eggs, whole chickens, and soap. Our mission is to sustainably grow delicious and beautiful organic produce for our surrounding communities. We sell all of our produce directly to consumers through a CSA program. Building relationships within the community is important to us. To that end, we encourage our members to get to know one other while enjoying the peaceful farm setting.. . In addition to our organically grown produce, we offer free-range eggs and whole chickens grown and processed right here on our farm. The chickens enjoy eating plants and insects in the fresh air daily. Their supplemental grain is non-GMO, soy-free and contains no medication.. . We are located in southern Dallas county, just 20 minutes west of the Des Moines metro area and Polk County. We are within 10 minutes of Madison, Guthrie and Adair counties. Cities and towns within a 15 mile radius of our farm include: Adel, Booneville, Dallas Center, Dale, DeSoto, Dexter, Earlham, Glendon, Linden, Menlo, Panora, Pitzer, Redfield, Stuart, Van Meter, Waukee, Winterset, and Wiscotta.
