Detailed description is Helen's Haven Children's Advocacy is a non-profit organization serving the children of the Atlantic Judicial Circuit in the State of Georgia. Serving Bryan, Evans, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, and Tattnall Counties. . . PURPOSE: To reduce the effects of childhood and adolescent trauma in a safe, supportive, non-threatening, child-friendly environment for the evaluation of suspected child maltreatment and victimization and provide support and foster healing for these children and non-offending caregivers.. . GOAL: To provide access for all children residing in the Atlantic Judicial Circuit with as many community resources as possible to promote mental and physical healing. . . SERVICES: Crisis intervention, child and adolescent forensic interviewing, specialized trauma-focused therapy services, medical referrals, advocacy, support, community referrals, and child abuse prevention and awareness education.. . Helen's Haven Children's Advocacy Center is supported in part by the Children's Advocacy Centers of Georgia, Inc. through appropriations from the Georgia General Assembly and the Department of Human Services.
