Nearly eighty years ago, my grandfather, Frank Hofmann Sr., purchased a dairy farm that he named Hillside Acres. That farm was passed down to my Uncle, Richard Hofmann, and my father, Frank Hofmann Jr. It continued to operate as a successful dairy business until 2007. Along the way the farm was expanded and the land and family nurtured many of my childhood memories and the lessons I learned about life. As a way to honor on my grandfather’s, uncle’s and father’s farming legacy, I decided to keep the Hillside name as part of my farm.
