Detailed description is WE tarry for the Holy Ghost. WE promise to walk together as saints in holiness and in love. WE dedicate ourselves to promote the spiritual growth of the Church and to sustain its worship. In the early 1950's, under the leadership of the late Bishop A. Bonds, Mother A. M. Lee receved the gift of the Holy Ghost and water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus. Under the Leleadership of the Lord, and with the permission of her then pastor, she formed a "Prayer Band." . . She was mentored by the premier pioneer Carrie B. Arnold. Through this obedience and the assistance of her daughter, Anita Lee-Manuel and her niece (now Pastor) Lonnie B. Johnson, she founded, organized and incorporated the Holy Temple of Jesus Christ Pentecostal Churches.. . As Presiding Overseer, she helped through her leadership organize over 24 churches throughout California, Ohio, and Texas. She lived to see her first church (the headquarters) grow to a new 700-seat sanctuary along with her late daughter, Pastor Anita Walls. The legacy continues with her grandson, Pastor Charles Manuel.. . The Late Pastor Anita Walls work included: Founding and building a church in Caldwell, Texas (Holy Temple of Jesus Christ #11) and Pastoring there for 44 years as well as, founding and helping to build (Holy Temple of Jesus Christ #8) in Schulenburg, Texas.. .
