The name of the store was given by his wife, Martha, when she would tell him, honey pick up this or that while he was out doing errands. So, "Honey Pik" stuck as the name of the store. Joe and Martha ran the store for several years along with their son, Doug. After that the store was leased for many years, then in 2009 the store was taken back over by Doug Compton. The store was totally revamped by Doug and his wife Lora. They strive to offer great customer service, competitive prices and an all around personable place to shop.. .
