Like many, I am inspired by nature and I often find inspiration while hiking in the mountains. There are so many new things to see every day, new plants, animals, colors of the seasons. I look at melting glacier and ask: where does this water go? Do icebergs in Alaska melt just like my glacier? I actually created a collection, Plight of the Polar Bear, trying to answer my own question: How does mama bear adapts to change? Does she teach her cubs the ways of the “new” tomorrow? I used Larimar in that collection.
