Detailed description is 501 (c) (3) - Non-Profit Organization aimed at educating undefended students, aka At-risk youths about the professional lifestyle of Human Resource. We are proud to announce the Human Resources Achievement Program, Inc. (HRAP, Inc.) The HRAP, Inc. is a Human Resources Leadership program that is designed to provide today's at-risk youths who will become tomorrow’s leaders with the knowledge, tools, skills, and experiences that can be readily applied to their future challenges and pursuits, whether personal or professional. Our program takes a holistic approach to developing youths by providing a wide range of stimulating and developmental activities including, but not limited to:. . Classroom lectures and coursework on topics centered around core human resources services as well as other specialty topics. A series of Profiles in Leadership brown bag luncheons . 3600 performance feedback for each youth . Guest lecturers focus on topics such as Customer Service and Leadership Development . The program is offered as an after-school program during the Summer months on Saturday’s.. . Eligibility requirements include:. High School Students (Junior or Senior year preferably) and /or Sophomore students currently enrolled, who are in good academic standing with and a GPA of no higher than 2.0. This must be supported by a transcript.. Recommendation letter from a teacher and a reference letter from an advisor must both be attached to the application. Absent of any of these three aforementioned documents, the application will be deemed incomplete.. Students must be eligible to work in the United States . Applicants will be evaluated by their essay questions, answer to a reflective question, professional resume, and interview. Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of the District of Columbia.
