Lauren is a Certified Microblading Technician, trained Visual Artist, and has a certification in Bloodborne Pathogens for Body Art Training. She has a passion for painting, cats, old hollywood, and giving eyebrows to women like herself who never should have owned tweezers in the 90's.. . So what exactly is "microblading" and who is it for?. . Microblading is a procedure for individuals who want to add shape and/or fullness to sparse or thinning eyebrows. . . This is done by way of a two part semi-permanent tattooing technique that is performed with a natural feathering approach using a metal hand tool rather than a tattoo gun. The tool contains a single-use "blade" made up of ultra fine needles to create tiny, individual strokes that mimic the appearance of actual hair. Each stroke deposits a hypo-allergenic pigment into the skin that will last generally 6 months to 2 years depending on your exposure to sun, skin type, and resistance to pigment. . .
