Detailed description is iCue stands for Innovative Careers University of Edinburgh and we are a careers-focused society that runs events from workshops to competitions. Founded in 2003, iCue aims to improve students employability through various activities, workshops and skills sessions. iCue welcomes all students who have an interest in business and are looking to progress their career prospects regardless of year or degree discipline. . . Students will receive exposure to a range of companies who they can network with at all of our events. Our first semester consists of weekly activities including case study workshops, applications masterclass, our 'Pitch Perfect' competition and many more. . . In the second semester our focus will be on ‘The Edinburgh Apprentice’ competition that enables students to develop real-life business skills and increase their employability. Throughout the year, we also have regular social events for each member to have fun along the way and to expand their professional network inside and outside the business world. . . We will be recruiting our Edinburgh Apprentice Project Teams in October every year - these students are the backbone of the competition; planning, securing sponsorship and judges and running the competition itself.
