Detailed description is A caring church in a hurting world. We are a local church which meets in Durant, MS who desire to be known for inspiring worship, intimate community, and intense outreach. We long to be a church that reflects the ethnic and socio-economic diversity present in our community. We gather for spiritual formation and corporate worship each Sunday morning. Each Sunday night is an unhurried season of congregational prayer. Each Wednesday our members lead an outreach under-privileged children and youth in our community. Other outreach projects are currently being planned.. . Our pastor is Rev. Will Lott. He and his wife, Lauren, love God and love people. We are excited about the direction God is leading us through their ministry.. . We are a part of a Pentecostal denomination called the Church of God whose headquarters are in Cleveland, TN led by presiding bishop Dr. Mark Williams.. . Rev. Daniel Blaylock and his wife Shay planted the Immanuel Church in 2005. We are so thankful for all the dedicated hard work, time spent, and prayers the Blaylock family gave. You are forever in our hearts.
