Detailed description is The program has three components: a course in the spring semester, a two-week study tour in May, and a final presentation in the following fall semester. The program is housed in the College of Agriculture, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, but is cross-listed in the College of Business.. . The program requires a ~$3,900 course fee, to be paid in three installments. Course fee covers all costs associated with program administration and travel, including international airfare. Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid after having been admitted to the program in late November/December. In addition, students should apply for the study abroad funds that the colleges offer as well as the campus-wide I4I scholarship.. . During the spring 2016 semester, the course will focus on food and agricultural supply chains in Brazil and Argentina. Students will become experts in one particular industry from a comparative perspective, working in teams. During the study tour, we will visit multinational companies, regulators, farmers, and local organizations.. .
