Each hand position is held for approximately 2-5 minutes, depending on how much Reiki is being absorbed in each position.. The experience of Reiki is subjective, changeable, and sometimes very subtle. Most report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful during and after a session. Others may experience warmth, coolness, or tingling sensations during the session where hands are positioned. You may even fall asleep. The experience is different for each person.
