Detailed description is Walters family business. First opened in Stonington, Maine in June of 2000. Sadly closed our doors up there after finishing the 2008 season in October of that year. We are a small family owned and operated business located in the heart of Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We proudly serve delicious ice cream that is made on a small farm where the cows are small in number, pasture-fed on certified organic land, well loved and cared for, and NEVER injected with steroids or hormones of any kind. This makes for ice cream that is rich, creamy, and old-fashioned in both taste and quality. We offer French inspired desserts made fresh daily by our in-house pastry chef, the lovely and talented Maya Hayes. She only uses all natural, pure ingredients when making her not-too-sweet indulgences. If it is a light lunch you are after, we prepare vegetarian sandwiches each morning using fresh and local produce, breads and cheeses. We brew local Coffee By Design beans from Portland, Maine and offer a variety of natural and organic sodas and lemonades to wet your whistle on hot summer days.
