We make it easy to take advantage of our daily lunch specials with phone ahead ordering, and our 410 and Culebra location offers a drive-thru for added convenience. We don’t just offer great Fish, Caldos and Cocktails. We also offer delicious burgers, chicken fried steak, and chicken entrees. For those of you who like grilled fish and seafood, we offer that too. Anthony’s Seafood is a family friendly fast casual dining restaurant that has been serving the San Antonio community for 29 years. There are currently 3 locations for J. Anthony’s Seafood all of which were established by the current owner, Louis Arredondo. He has been the owner of this business for the last 19 years. J. Anthony’s goal is to provide quality seafood at a value price for its customers. J. Anthony’s is well known on the South and West sides of San Antonio and now with its recent addition on the Northwest side of town we have spread the demand for our product in the city of San Antonio.. . Mr. Arredondo purchased J. Anthony’s from the original owner in 1991 and moved the restaurant to S. Presa. Through hard work and determination he was able to grow the business enough to buy some property and build a second location on General McMullen eight years ago. After opening this second location and consistently growing his business there over the first couple of years he realized that he had a concept that hometown people enjoyed and could afford. In 2008 he began looking for another location that would “put him on the map.” He soon found the location at 410 and Culebra and opened his third and largest location (4,200 sf.) in June of 2008.. . The stores draw customers from all of the South and West sides of town as well as a great portion of the Northwest side of town. Because of the location of the 410 store the customer base extends out to Castroville and Hondo. This store has also helped expose the business to customers living on the North side of San Antonio due to the highway access and proximity to the Medical Center.
