About 4 years ago, when Rick taught Jilli to play poker, he asked trainer friends around the country if they had seen any dog do this. No one had, so for a lark, he called the video of it "Jilli Dog, The World's Only Poker Playing Dog", figuring that if someone challenged them, they would have fun with that! Well, after 4 years, no one had... UNTIL this year!!! Japan sent over a TV show, full cast and crew of 8, with a guest movie star, and a beautiful Lab with one of Japan's top trainers! Well, Jilli performed flawlessly and the Lab, when asked to play, ripped up the cards and money! Jilli still holds the title!!! It was great fun, and they were wonderful people!
