Questions & Answers. . Q: How far in advance should I place an order?. . A: Kake Savvy requests that custom cake orders be placed a minimum of 3-4 weeks in advance. All other dessert cakes/treats should be ordered no less than 1-2 weeks prior to the event date. Occasionally there is availability for last minute orders and a rush fee may apply. Please inquire by email: kakesavvy@gmail.com. A Non-fundable retainer fee of 50% of the total is required to reserve your date. If the order is placed less than 2 weeks from the event date (1 month for wedding cakes), the order must be paid in full. Any order less than $100.00 must be paid in full at time of reservation. No date is reserved unless the non-refundable retainer is received. Wedding/Groom's cakes and custom cakes also require a signed contract.. . Q: What is the best form of contact?. .
