The goal of this intensive, 3-semester program ASL/English Interpreter Education program is to prepare you to become an effective entry-level interpreter.
Upon successful completion of the program you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from Kapi‘olani Community College and ready to take the appropriate credentialing/rating exam that will enable you to interpret in a community or public school setting.
If you are interested in attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Interpreting, this certificate along with an AA degree from KCC is designed to be compatible with degree requirements at selected universities.
