The services we provide for your hair needs are cuts, color, perms, and styling. The specialty services we offer are facial waxing, deep condition hair treatments, and up-dos and braids. Last but not least we also have nail services available. They are sculpted or tip acrylics, re bases, regular and paraffin wax manicures with regular nail polish or gel nail polish, and nail art to top it all off. So if your in the area, drop by. I received my cosmetology licence in Goodland Ks in 1992 and have been doing hair for 22+ years in Denver Co. During that whole time I worked for Cost Cutters. I managed one of their stores for 13 years. I also learned that I loved to teach hair and did that part time there as well on the Cost Cutters National Design Team. For a couple years there I was their Education Director for the 80 stores. One of my greatest experiences was also teaching for John Paul Mitchell Systems within the Regis corporation for 18 years and travel all over the United States teaching other hairstylists and being taught by some of Paul Mitchell's top educators too. All of these experiences and opportunities fueled my passion for hair and I still love it just as much today. . My dream of owning my own salon came true last year May 1, 2013. With a lot of help from my wonderful husband Marion, my parents and friends I opened up Kathy's Corner Salon. Being able to come back to my roots and bring back the knowledge I gained to rural Colorado has been exciting and well received. . People always ask my what's my favorite service. I have a hard time picking just one but I really love doing total makeovers. Creating a new cut, color and/or perm, and style for someone and seeing their face light up, then having them come in later to tell me how many compliments they got is a very satisfying day on the job.. My beautiful salon is growing everyday and now with my talented step daughter Makayla Brouwer in the salon working her creativeness with nails and hair we strive to grow even more. .
