The Kaye Prox Food Bank gratefully accepts donations of both money and of food and personal care items. Donated funds are used to make purchases from Feeding America Tampa Bay (formerly called America’s Second Harvest of Tampa Bay.) The food bank is able to buy food, and personal and household care items from this organization at highly reduced prices, paying only handling fees. Funds are also used to purchase meats and other needed food from local wholesalers when these are not available from Feeding America Tampa Bay. . . No funds are used for salaries or overhead. The food bank is housed in the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour in Town and Country at no cost. Volunteers do everything to organize and run the food bank.. .
