Our Council is based out of Saint Leo University On 22 November 1964, the Abbot Charles Moore Council 5630 was founded at Saint Leo. It was named after the first Abbot of Saint Leo Abbey. The council serves both the Abbey and the University. Being founded in 1964, the council is the oldest student organization on campus. . . As a Knight, you will be able to fully live and serve you Catholic faith in the unity of Fraternal Brotherhood. You will also be responded to Pope Francis's call for charity, as stated in this Year of Mercy.. . The Knights of Columbus is worldwide in virtually in every city, you will have instant connections for social life and business wherever you go after Saint Leo. . . You will also be able to develop interpersonal communication skills and community involvement. Our leadership position are elected from within. For students, this is a key addition into resume building and building connections for life after Leo. . . The Council will soon be joined by the Columbiettes Auxiliary which is open to all Catholic woman aged 17 and older.
