Detailed description is Kostume Kult is an NYC based costume art, theme event and street-theater club that throws super fun events while bringing amazing people together. The Kostume Kult arts collective is a voluteer-led, non-profit community organization supporting interactive arts, costuming, street theater and absurdist fun while bringing wonderful people together. Founded in 2000, every year we host a float in the NYC Halloween Parade, a fashion camp at Burning Man, five annual costume gala fundraisers (Horned Ball, Black & Light Ball, Freakkshow, Valentines & Halloween ) while taking part in a variety of public events (Halloween Parade, Mermaid Parade, Dance Parade, Gay Pride and Idiotarod ++) as well as crafting parties and other mixers. We are not a real "cult" but an open arts collective that welcomes all to get involved, explore your creativity and to let your inner child come out to play!...
