Detailed description is Optimist club members embrace the positives values of optimism, respect for self and others, and independence of mind through community service. This club is an international youth organization that is affiliated with Optimist International for students in high school between the ages of 14-18. . . It is a club dedicated to community service in the LaFayette/Walker County area, as well as fund raising projects for club supplies, to send our president to the International Convention every summer, as well as donations to charities.. .
