Detailed description is Breeders of Quality Labrador Retrievers since 1997. . We purchased our first purebred Labrador in 1995. Her name was “Richland Magiemae or May Not” (CH Boradors Thunder Bumper X Boradors Chelsea Beginning). I wanted to breed her but my husband wanted to train her to track for the local police department. Hence, her name “Mae or May Not”. She was trained for tracking, but in the end did not join the police department but produced beautiful puppies. We were hooked, she was the best dog we ever owned. We have since had and bred many wonderful Labrador Retrievers. We have a small breeding program and are located in Beloit, Ohio. Our dogs sleep in our bed and lounge on our couches. They are first and foremost family members. We have over 4 acres and a pond where the girls run and swim. The puppies that are whelped here are raised in our home, not in a kennel or barn. They are loved, kissed and played with daily and very well socialized. We breed one or sometimes two litters a year, so we can be selective about the studs that we choose. Our dogs and any stud dog we use are all AKC English Style Labradors, with Hips/Elbows/Heart and Eye Registration. Our main focus is breeding dogs with a friendly and calm temperament. We also look for nice pedigrees with strong champion blood lines. Any dog who has had puppies here is a member of our family for life, and not sold or put into a “pet home”.. . Several years ago, our girls had reached the senior years in life and were no longer having puppies, so we took a break from breeding Labradors for a while. . . We purchased “Royalty’s Bridget Rosalee of Lakeland” (or just Bridget) (Stormy C’s Truffle Shuffle X Royalty’s Indulge in Chocolate). Bridget is a beautiful dark chocolate female. She has a very nice large head, bright beautiful eyes, a lovely dark coat and is big boned. Her temperament is excellent. Our four-year-old grandson “Mason” plays vigorously with her, but she is always quite gentle with him. In September of this year we bred Bridget with “Royalty’s Cooperative Agent” ( or just Cooper) (Ch Lubberline Martingale X Royalty’s Solo). Cooper is a nice Yellow lab who passed his Canine Good Citizen Test on October 23,2013. He received his Diving Dog Title Certificate on July 31, 2015, he is currently training for his Jr. Hunter title. He will be tested for his Companion Dog title in December. Six of 8 of the puppies weighing 19 oz. each at birth. Sadly we lost one of the yellow males at birth. These are not Christmas puppies!! Christmas time is the worst time to take a new puppy home. These puppies are to go to loving homes and be raised in your home. They will go to their new homes around the 6th of January 2016.
