Είναι δόκιμο μέλος της Διεθνούς Ομοσπονδίας Σκύλων-Οδηγών (IGDF) και μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ομοσπονδίας Σκύλων-Οδηγών (EGDF). Tο όνομά της, το πήρε από τη "Λάρα" που ήταν ο 1ος σκύλος-οδηγός τυφλών στην Ελλάδα. . . EN - The "Lara" Guide-Dog School was established in order improve the life of the visually impaired people in Greece. The "Lara" Guide-Dog School is supported by private donations. It is a member of the European Guide Dog Federation (EGDF) and an associate member of the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF).
