Lasell Bartlett, MSW integrates over forty-five years of experience in the fields of mind/body awareness with professional expertise as a clinical social worker and therapeutic riding instructor, focusing on helping horses and humans develop the best relationships imaginable. She offers clinical services as well as individual and group teaching locally and away.. . She is actively involved with Somatic Experiencing trainings as part of the teaching team including support to students during and after training modules. She has completed Dave Berger's BASE training and integrates those skills in her work.. . Lasell teaches horse handling and riding, and offers individual and group lessons. She is dedicated to highlighting the best in her students whether their goals are better balance or better understanding of their horses, often setting a playful tone for learning through achievable challenges and games. She has completed the three year training to be a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and is enjoying integrating this into her teaching. . . Lasell works a lot with helping people move from disconnected states to embodiment, in as easy a way as possible.. . At High Horses Therapeutic Riding Program in Sharon, Vermont, she has had numerous roles and currently teaches therapeutic riding and provides mental health focused services through the Connections program that she developed. She is certified by PATH International as an Instructor and an Equine Specialist.. . Lasell is passionate about horses, about safety around horses, and about nurturing a calm learning environment.
