We compete in parliamentary, public, and one-on-one policy debate.
We also compete in individual events..
Lenoir-Rhyne Debate has historically been an important element of the college experience at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
The debate team ended in the early 90's, but we were blessed to be restarted in theory in 2012.
We began competing at intercollegiate debate competitions again in 2013.
Our goal as an organization is to spread education and critical thinking to as many audiences as possible via debate.
We also seek to make the numerous Lenoir-Rhyne constituencies proud of the quality of the students that choose to participate at on-campus debates and intercollegiate debate competitions.
