Detailed description is A Place Where Jesus and People Come Together Welcome to Long Branch Church of God. We are a Church of God (Cleveland, TN) congregation that is full of power and anointing, alive and active for the Kingdom of God. Established in the 1924, our congregation has seen and endured many hardships throughout our history. We have also thrived in great outpourings of the Holy Ghost and of the Grace of God. . . The story of the vision for the Long Branch Church of God began after a young man in the community was accidentally shot in the stomach with buckshot. Believing God, the members of the family called upon two pentecostal women from Sylvainia, Georgia who were full of the Holy Ghost and of faith. After praying for the young man, who was readily at death’s door, a miraculous healing took place and the young man was made whole. Those there in attendance were called upon to pray and seek God’s direction for what was to happen next. Soon after the church began holding services in a brush arbor until a building could be constructed. Through persecution and danger, threats of bodily harm and fire, the congregation remained faithful. A building was erected and then moved to our current location. As time has progressed so has the Long Branch Church of God. The church has added two sanctuaries since coming to the current location with current plans to build an additional building to house the growing youth and children’s departments.. . We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and the life changing power of the blood of Christ. As a church we are not looking for the perfected people who have it all together, rather we seek out those that feel they are “The Last; The Least; and The Lost.” We invite you to come as you are and experience the life changing power of God’s Grace and His presence. . . Service Times are: Sundays @ 10 am and 6 pm Wednesdays @ 7 pm. . .
