Many years ago, several families in the Macfarlan community saw a need for a church in this area.
Bought and raised at Cario, WV, what was then, Egypt Presbyterian Church and transported by the Calico Railroad, to Macfarlan, and was reconstructed on its present sight..
It was dedicated as Macfarlan Presbyterian Church, in the spring of 1928....
