Detailed description is Need a relaxing break in a cosy, peaceful yurt? . . The yurt I made myself is finally up after its sleep and looking more beautiful than ever. It's at a friend's in a lovely field full of fruit trees and wild flowers just next to Glastonbury and is available for summer visitors, at a donation. . . Some info on the yurt: it's got a king size bed (which could be two singles), a windysmithy woodburner, small table and chairs and I've made it as cosy as possible with rugs and throws and sheepskins. There's a lovely handmade outdoor solar shower and compost toilet which you'd share with guests of the one other yurt and a little outdoor kitchen area is just on its way. It’s possible to heat water and pots on the woodburner, but fancy cooking would be tricky. There are plenty of candles for light and solar fairy lights inside and torches if needed. There's also wifi available from my friend's house too. . . The area: the yurt has an amazing view of Glastonbury tor and is nestled in the Avalon valley, in Butleigh, 5 mins from Glastonbury (by car). There's taxis and buses,(although these are infrequent) so bikes or a car are definitely advisable. There's also beautiful walks in all directions and nice Somerset pubs to collapse in afterwards. . . Other bits: I'm thinking £45 -£55 per night depending on length of stay etc. (prefer minimum 3 nights stay) Only eco products can be used in the shower as it's used to water the trees. No pets and no smoking or shoes in the yurt please. . . If you could let friends know by sharing this page with them I'd be very grateful as I'm not wanting to rent it commercially at the moment. . .
