The Malachi Boys home was established in 1982 under the ministry of Bethel Baptist Missions and is incorporated under the state of North Carolina. It was assumed by local church leadership in 2004 under Oak Level Baptist Church in Stokesdale, NC.. . Boys, ages 12-17 are accepted from nationwide. The home itself sits on 90 acres of wooded property with a lake and many other amenities. . . Support comes from God, through individuals and churches burdened for the ministry. We do not accept any assistance from the government either state or federal. The Malachi Boys Home is completely free to the families of the boys that are there. The ONLY expense for them is the cost of schooling. The boys attend Oak Level Baptist Academy while under the care of the home.. . The goal and overall mission of the home is to redirect young men's lives towards God and godliness and raising them up to be future godly men, husbands, fathers, pastors, and faithful lay members, etc. by:. . - Providing an atmosphere where young men may be led to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. . - Providing Christian leadership and a Christian home environment with a strong fatherly and motherly image. . - Providing spiritual guidance that they may grow to Christian maturity. . - Providing for them spiritually, academically, financially, and physically. . - Teaching them practical life skills . . Bro. Aaron Patton and his wife, Bethany, have recently accepted the role of Director/House Parents at the home. Bro. Aaron was at the home himself as a teenager and it is where the Lord graciously saved his soul and turned his life around. Since leaving the home, Bro. Aaron served his country in the US Marine Corps and later served his local community as a police officer. He surrendered to preach in 2013. He and his family are excited to be returning to the home and are thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in this unique ministry.. .
