Detailed description is Marc Barraco is a concerned citizen who lives in Hilliard, OH, who is seeking to ensure our communities best interests are being served. I returned to my home state of Ohio after serving almost ten years on active duty in the United States Navy and made the City of Hilliard my home in July of 2000. I married my high school sweet heart Tracy Dean Barraco who is my loving and supportive wife of almost 20 years. We have three beautiful daughters, Deanna who is currently a senior attending Davidson High School. Victoria is a fifth grader and Ashlea is a first grader both at Avery Elementary school. We are a family of animal lovers and share our home with our two dogs and one guinea pig. We are parishioner’s at St. Brendan the Navigator Church in Hilliard.. . I currently work for the City of Columbus Department of Public Safety as a Communications Systems Specialist managing and supporting the cities 911 computer aided dispatch (CAD) system and all other systems that interface to it.. . I am currently serving in the United States Naval Reserve at the Navy Operation Support Center (NOSC) Columbus, OH. I am currently assigned to the Surgemain unit as the leading Petty Officer with the mission of leading sailors in providing depot-level skilled trade and engineering technical support to all of the Navy’s Shipyards. May 2013 will mark my 22nd year of service in the Navy. . . I have attended St. Leo University while stationed in Norfolk, VA and Franklin University here in Columbus, OH.. . I have been a volunteer recreational soccer coach for the Hilliard Recreational Soccer League (HRSL) coaching girl’s teams since 2000.. . I have helped my wife with all three of our daughters Girl Scout troops. Currently troop 2450 for Victoria and troop 2679 for Ashlea.. . I am member of Hilliard American Legion Post 614 which I joined upon making Hilliard my home in 2000..
