Marilyn Murray has always wanted to help others accomplish their God given potentials, dreams and visions in their lives. Even from a very young age, Marilyn began ministering to others as part of her family’s musical traveling team. She was able to experience ministry first hand and it wasn’t long before she and others knew there was a unique calling on her life to sing and to preach. Marilyn comes from a long line of ministers in her family. Her parents and siblings are ministers, pastors or missionaries. . . Marilyn has a unique ability to use humor and her own life experiences to help relate to others while she teaches the Word of God in a practical way. Her wealth of experience in ministry adds a fresh touch to the Body of Christ today.. . She served in the local church as part of the pastoral staff at Enid First Assembly in Enid, Oklahoma, serving as the Music and Outreach Pastor for more than 21 years until 2010 when Marilyn founded Marilyn Murray Ministries. Marilyn has ministered with Audrey Meiers Ministries, PTL Club, TBN, and has performed for the former Governor of Oklahoma David Boren, was an Honorary Ambassador to Mexico. She has sung at numerous International denominational conferences.. . Marilyn is focused internationally as well. Marilyn supports the State of Israel and prays for the peace of Jerusalem and the Jewish people. She performs and supports in various outreaches and missionary trips to Honduras and around the globe.. . An unexpected tragedy occurred when Marilyn's husband of 34 years died unexpectedly and then just a few short months later, she lost her mother to cancer. Through these tragedies, she had to rely heavily on the comfort and hope of the Holy Spirit. During these times she learned a valuable lesson. That wounds show you have been hurt, but scars show that you have been healed. She truly believes it is important that you “Don’t Hide the Scars”. This is one of Marilyn’s theme songs she uses to inspire others to use those very heartaches as a way to begin healing and to show those scars to others so that by your testimony, they may be healed.. Marilyn Murray is a compassionate, loving, kind and caring women of God who desires for others to invest in themselves, move forward in their lives and to Live Inspired. Her goal is to help others accomplish this mission in their very own lives.
