Detailed description is The Marshall SWCD provides services to landowners in Marshall County, MN, and is co-located with the USDA-NRCS and Farm Service Agency in Warren, MN. The Marshall SWCD is committed to providing quality conservation services to the landowners and citizens of Marshall County, Minnesota. The district administers programs including the Minnesota Wetland Conservation Act, rainfall monitoring in Marshall County, the Reinvest in Minnesota easement program, and the Erosion Control and Water Management Program (also known as State Cost Share). We assist with Conservation Reserve Program plan writing, Wetlands Reserve Program monitoring, water monitoring, various educational programs such as the Water Festival, Envirothon and Soil Stewardship, noxious weed monitoring, Marshall County Park Nature Site, observation well monitoring, and native grass and tree planting.
